Sarah Palmer relishes finding practical and intellectual solutions to help creative people thrive. Her approach is thoughtful and collaborative and she provides action and organisational drive to project development and implementation.

Sarah is extremely knowledgeable about the creative industries both as a visual artist and as an arts professional. As Consultant Director for Professional Development at Cockpit Arts in London she was responsible for the design and delivery of the continuing professional development support for a range of emerging and established creative businesses. The pioneering Developing Professional Practice Programme, which Sarah launched in 2000, is now a nationally accredited programme. Sarah has an M.A. in Art and Design (Distinction).

Sarah is a creative practitioner, maintaining a studio in Hastings. She is committed to her own development as a visual artist and has shown her work widely both here and abroad. Paulene Hamilton is an invaluable asset to the creative sector and she brings a mix of realism, vision and courage to a sector badly in need of all three! Informed, interactive and accessible sum up Paulene's approach.

She has developed considerable experience gained over the last twenty years in key posts as well as being an independent advocate for good practice when overseeing the use of public funding.

She is an enthusiastic networker and acts as a crucial link between government agencies, HEI's and creative businesses.

Paulene is also involved in the creative sector in a number of roles including Chair of London Printworks Trust, and has been an adviser to United Arts Village, Deptford Creative Village Consortium, Thames Gateway Creative Industries Steering Group and the Creative Lewisham Steering Group. She has a BA in Law (Distinction).

She is also an avid collector of art and craft including works by Natasha Kerr, Adam Paxon, Amanda Doughty, Kavel Rafferty, Scott Wilson and Martin McInally

Sarah and Paulene are both fully qualified arts trainers and have experience in delivering group workshops, seminars and individual coaching to a variety of clients in the creative sector.
